I’m Jim Heaton – and this is Pinnacle CEO

My passion and commitment is for helping CEOs like you continue to build your company, sort out your issues, make better decisions, and get better results.

I have extensive experience in both privately held and publicly traded companies.  I consistently grew sales faster than expenses, turned problems into solutions, and helped my people become better individuals as they learned to work as a team. My understanding of what drives performance comes from taking new or struggling businesses and creating rapidly-growing, profitable companies.

After 25 years in the public sector, I resigned in 2004 – because I wanted to focus on working with private and closely-held companies.  After taking an equity position in and turning around a small specialty company on the East Coast, I came to San Diego and dedicated myself to the small business here in San Diego County.  I work individually and in groups to help my clients become the best possible CEO throughout every stage of their companies’ life.

My CEO groups are reserved for business leaders who are committed to growth in their businesses, themselves, and their people.  Leaders who believe in the fundamentals of corporate citizenship, sustainability, and personal responsibility to their families and their employees.  My groups are open only to those who commit to show up consistently – and who have the capacity to raise the bar for the group as a whole.
